Event starts at 7:30PM
Our esteemed juror, Leah Goodnight Tyler, will select 15-30 pieces for the Appetite for Art Juried Art Show; with a 3 piece maximum submission limit. Please limit the size of the submitted art work to 60in x 60 or smaller and with a maximum fair market value of $2,500. Selected artists will receive complementary tickets to Appetite for Art 2016 for themselves and a guest. Selected artwork will be displayed and available for purchase prior to the event on the Appetite for Art bidding page at www.501auctions.com/appetiteforart.
In addition, all works chosen for the juried event will be for sale at the event in either the silent or live auction. The starting bid will not be less than 60% of the FMV of the piece. If sold in the silent auction, the artist will receive 30% of the FMV of the piece and the balance will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs. If the piece does not sell, it will be returned to the artist.
If the piece is chosen for our live auction, the artist will receive 50% of the sales proceeds up to 50% of the FMV of the piece with the balance of the proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs. Donations of art are welcome but must be selected by our juror. There is no submission fee for donated artwork.
Artists will be responsible for the transportation of Artwork to CAM prior to 1pm on April 9th and are encouraged to provide their own easels to ensure the proper display of pieces. (Please make sure easels are labeled for returns). All unpurchased artwork must be picked up by April 10th between noon and 5pm.
